The maternal health crisis in America needs to be front and center, not only this week during Black Maternal Health Week but every single day because it's abhorrent. There is absolutely no reason why it is what it currently is; if we cared.
Oral contraceptive for men? Roaring applause and standing ovation! But let's face the current reality. Men only have two (2) effective methods of birth control available to them - condoms and vasectomy; and since my main target audience is the black community, they only have one as the mere mention of a vasectomy as a form of birth control is akin to an abomination.
